This comic shows Heni and Bola bumping into each other in the snack aisle and flashes back through time as they reconnect showing how they similarly discovered themselves while apart on their own journeys. Their shared memories bond them together and allow them to understand each other’s past in a unique way that can only come from growing up in similar environments and having interwoven experiences.
 
This story is inspired by my own experiences of discovering my own identity and reconnecting with people from my past, discovering that they are queer, and celebrating each other’s identities.
